This book contains two types of coded word puzzles:DecipherThis™ puzzles, which are similar to codeword type puzzles but with an embedded message. These resemble traditional crossword puzzles but rather than a set of clues, you need to solve a cipher in which a random number has been assigned for each letter and used in the puzzle. A few letters are given in each puzzle to provide a starting point, as well as several optional hints in the form of more traditional crossword clues. But try to decipher without using the hints — or maybe try to use as few hints as possible. It can be done! Each puzzle has an embedded message (usually a quote from a famous person) you can uncover once you complete the puzzle. Bitzzle™ bitcoin puzzles, or simply Bitzzles™. Bitzzle™ is a more challenging type of DecipherThis™ puzzle that gives you a chance to claim some bitcoin (yes, really). Instead of an embedded message, each Bitzzle™ has an embedded recovery phrase that will allow the first person who solves the puzzle to recover the bitcoin at a specific address on the bitcoin blockchain. There are five Bitzzle™ puzzles included in this book, with bitcoin values ranging from approximately $100 for Bitzzle 1 to $500 for Bitzzle 5 (these are approximate values as of initial publication date 2/14/23). Details on how this works and step by step instructions are included in the book, as well as an introduction to bitcoin and related concepts for those who may not be familiar with bitcoin.
