A metropolis in Washington has banned crypto kiosks in a bid to crack down on digital asset fraud.

Town of Spokane is banning crypto kiosks after the Metropolis Council voted unanimously to go an ordinance that seeks to guard its residents towards scams aided by digital asset ATMs.

“This ordinance prohibits digital forex kiosks from being operated within the Metropolis of Spokane. Spokane has seen a big improve in scams arising from using cryptocurrency kiosks, and there was a gentle improve in victims shedding hundreds of {dollars}.
